After spending a day at their favourite beach in Cornwall, Gwithian, blessed with glorious sunshine Tim popped the big question to Emma's delight. She was then whisked away to a romantic stay at Pedn Olva hotel that over looks the sea. Quite the perfect propsal, which flowed effortlessly into their theme for their big day which was held at Carbis Bay Hotel, overlooking Gwithian beach. Giving the beach even more sentimental meaning than before; we also hear they are going back for their 1st anniversary!
Emma and Tim wanted a sophisticated afternoon tea theme and held the Fortnum & Mason Aqua Green as their main colour, a wonderful choice being so close to the blues of the sea. As Inspire Hire created the floral decorations we mixed pinks, shells and aqua ribbons to the bouquets to add a bit more colour to the day and holding onto the treasured surrounding by adding a little bit of the beach to each arrangement.
We asked the lovely Emma what her favourite moment of the day was and her response was magical, "We were both nervous and emotional during the ceremony, but it was like noone else was there whilst we were saying our vowels. There was a moment of serenity when we could hear the sea and it was so calming." A moment, no doubt, they will treasure forever.
When we spoke to Emma about how she heard about Inspire Hire it had to be one of the most wonderful ways in which new brides have heard about us, "I met Elle at the Wed Show. I wanted to hire a few things and showed Elle a picture I'd taken from the magazine because I loved the bride's bouquet. It turned out to be a feature on Elle's own wedding! Hence why she also did my flowers and styling for me!" Such a small world but we are so happy to be inspiring future couples and to be given a chance to create new themes all the time, personal to the couple and their dreams.
